The Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital (CLMMRH) received its first Trailblazer Award for its exceptional performance during its public revalida of its Performance Governance System (PGS).

Represented by its Medical Center Chief, Dr. Julius M. Drilon, CLMMRH’s preparations, accomplishments, and plans garnered the Silver Trailblazer Award for its Initiation Stage. This award is conferred to government agencies or units that garner a score of 8.5 to 9.2 in the public revalida.

Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital (CLMMRH) began its governance journey in November 2021 when it adopted the PGS, a local adaptation of Norton and Kaplan’s revolutionary Balanced Scorecard system through the supervision of the Institute for Solidarity in Asia (ISA). The PGS translates the organization’s vision into strategies through scorecards of the units of the organization.

In the four stages of the PGS governance pathway: Initiation, Compliance, Proficiency, and Institutionalization, CLMMRH has passed the Initiation stage and shall move forward to the Compliance stage.

In his acceptance speech, Dr. Drilon, congratulated and thanked the people behind the success of the PGS for their commitment and dedication. He praised the organization for its support of the said endeavor and for taking on the challenge of good governance.
