Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital (CLMMRH) moves another step higher in the initiation phase of its Performance Governance System (PGS) today as it gathered 70 of its employees at the Reodica Hall for the Vetting of Strategic Performance Commitments of the hospital’s operating and support units.

The 3-day event is comprised of participants headed by CLMMRH’s Medical Center Chief Dr. Julius M. Drilon together with the PGS Core Team: Management Committee (MANCOM), division heads, and representatives of the eleven (11) specialty centers; the unit and section heads, and the members of the Office for Strategy Management (OSM). The event was facilitated by representatives from the Institute for Solidarity in Asia composed of Mr. Christian Peter Emmanuel Zaens (ISA Executive), Mr. Dominic San Buenaventura (Program Manager), and Mr. John Luke Montecillo. The activity is made possible through the efforts of the Office of Strategy Management headed by Mr. Rey Emanuelle Mirasol, RN as Chairman and Dr. Jorge Edward Masa as Co-chairman.

The participants were asked to vet or present their Strategic Performance Commitments, to do a readiness rating, and to sign their commitments for the year. This is in preparation for CLMMRH’s Strategic Position of transforming into a 1,000-bed people-centered, digitalized, general hospital with multispecialty centers.

The Performance Management System is a Management System or framework for strategy management. It is a way of bridging gaps between strategy formulation and implementation. This is another system that CLMMRH strives to implement in order to further improve its service delivery to its clients.
