The Department of Laboratory of Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital (CLMMRH) is a government hospital-based tertiary level clinical laboratory licensed by the Bureau of Health Facility and Services (BHFS) of the Department of Health (DOH) of the Republic of the Philippines. It has seven service sections for various diagnostic test and laboratory works covering routine and special procedures in clinical pathology (e.g. clinical chemistry, immunology, hematology, microscopy, bacteriology, blood banking, drugs of abuse screening ) and anatomic pathology (e.g. surgical pathology, immunohistochemistry, cytology and autopsy).
It is a bastion for collaborative research of national scale in partnership with the Research Institute for Tropical Medicine on Anti-Microbial Resistance, Invasive Bacterial Vaccine Preventable Diseases and Rotavirus Surveillance. It is the recognized blood center of the national voluntary blood program in the province of Negros Occidental.
It is a training-teaching facility accredited by the Philippine Society of Pathologists for residency training in Combined Clinical and Anatomic Pathology Program and by the Commission on Higher Education for internship rotation for BS Medical Technology or BS Laboratory Science students.
